Wow, so where do you live? And can I get you to pick up some of those ST ATT sim cards for me? Lol. Joking aside, ST ATT sim cards have been sold out at all the Walmarts in big cities for quite some time now. You must live in the heartland USA.

Also, just a bit of information, I had an AT&T SIM go "bad" during a port. After a few tries to activate the original SIM, they sent me a replacement SIM. It arrived yesterday and it was an AT&T SIM as the full number starts with 89014********* .

Strange thing is the card is a powder blue rather than the dark blue I have usually seen on AT&T cards. I don't know the significance of the shade of blue difference.

The light blue is a ST SIM for a ST phone that operates on the AT&T network.
The dark blue is a ST BYOP SIM that operates on the AT&T network

Not true. Powder blue is also BYOP. Is the product numbers that differentiate the two lines. Not color.

Here's one quick link. BYOP Powder blue.

Taken months ago for an article on ST AT&T byop SIMs. So there.

oh look BYOP powder blue again

    and powder blue:

That last one was a BYOP sim I sold on ebay a few months ago. Powder blue all the way.

I hate people who just make crap up. Because...

Here's an AT&T sim in a Tracfone phone. NOT blue at all.

and here's the famous Straight Talk NOKIA E71 "AT&T" sim card. NOT BLUE.

and here's a YouTube video of someone digging out an E71 ST "AT&T" sim card to use in an LG Nexus 4. NOT BLUE -- not powder blue or dark blue.

That's not to say that some ST-branded phones don't have AT&T sims that are blue. I'm just saying it's the product number printed on the card, not the color that makes the difference.

actually you're all a little wrong. the SIMs are actually all white on the top. the other side is colored. the stock is light blue for Straight Talk AT&T Regular Size SIM, and dark blue for Straight Talk AT&T MicroSIM. the pinks are Straight Talk T-Mobile. By the way, the 3-packs with $45 service cards are now officially discontinued from the WalMart stores and have been replaced by the CDMA BYOP packs which of course contain no SIM cards whatsoever, don't officially work with iPhones, and are limited to Verizon 3G. The walmarts that did have the three packs have had the space where they used to be available replaced with the "BYOP RED" product, or, in English, the CDMA packs. The stores which still had the three packs were stripped of stock and the CDMA packs were stocked in their place. all walmarts that for some reason still had stock will or most likely already have been swapped out with the new packs. this is happening nationwide. Better get those AT&T SIMs on ebay while you still can.

Might not "quit working" as a phone, to make and receive voice calls... But unless it's a very exceptional AT&T phone with T-mobile band capability it's not going to have a decent data connection at all. Edge speeds.

Sorry you wasted money on a Straight Talk "T-mobile" sim card, but good news is Net10 "AT&T" sim cards are still available. Sister company to Straight Talk. Unlimited talk, unlimited text, 1.5GB data on AT&T. $50 per month paying manually to Net10, $45 per month with auto refill. eBay refills currently as low as $38.

You can get the Net10 "AT&T" sim cards off eBay for less than $1 -- with free shipping:

Here's 1 for 99 cents with free shipping. Micro sim if you need that. Nano sim if you need that.

    Here's 2 for $1.75 with free shipping.

    Here's 10 for $6.99 with free shipping.
