    LG440G Tracfone: mystery ICON

A mystery ICON recently appeared on my LG440G Tracfone. I have researched the "user guide" and the LG website but cannot find out what the ICON refers to. I have attached a picture of my display screen. The ICON in question is above HOME and to the left. (Not the 3G icon).
    Thanks!

after several attempts of trying to i.d. this icon, i stumbled upon it today: it is the icon which shows "TTS" is "on". Menu>settings>applications>TTS.

    Hooray for that info!
Next: What does TTS stand for? and what does it do?

    TTS (Text-to Speech)
When you set this "on", SMS and Notepad can be read out. (from page 63 of the LG440G user manual)

    Thanks, Gene!
I get lost in all the icons and acronyms in different contexts, a lot!
