I didn't think that there was any specific retention dept. No one has the authority to offer a customer, anything other than the existing plans (which might include plans not widely advertised).

True, but they do sometimes offer little extras. For example, I was almost out of minutes, I called Verizon and they gave me 200 to use in 3 months. It was right before hurricane Irene and I needed them for work as a state emergency worker.

Call CS like everyone else, and if needed ask to be transferred. Most issues can be resolved with Tier I CS.

Customers are not supposed to bypass Tier I support.

If I'm annoyed and you're annoyed, does that make us a paranoid ??

Excuse me I don't like your tone. I didn't ask for a special CS number, the OP did.

My reply was meant for the OP. No offense meant to anyone else. Sorry about that.

Oh ok, sorry here as well. I agree with you, go through 611 and you'll get routed to the appropriate place if needed.

Call and ask for the $60 loyalty plan. Unl talk text 2 GB data and subsidized 4G phones.

If you're not on unlimited data and have 2 lines or less, you owe it to yourself to call and demand this plan

Anyone can ask, but there is never a guarantee that a "loyalty" plan will be added, even if requested.

I think the group in the other thread came up with the "loyalty" name, not VZW. IMHO, it is simply a promotional plan, that ends this Sunday.

i would like to know the answer to that as well. if you have 2 lines, are you going to have to pay $60x2?

edit: i just called the local store and they knew nothing about it. i guess this isnt offered in stores?

    It is a loyalty plan.

    Plan code is 88005.

It does not expire on Sunday.

The reference to two lines or less is based on the total cost of the plan. For one or two lines, $60/line/month is much cheaper than current plans and most nationwide plans. For larger accounts, this may not save any money. With the current 6 Gb share plan and 3 smartphones, it's 200/month before discount. With this plan it would be 180....so even 3 line accounts are cheaper in this case assuming no discount

If the reps hear you speak of canceling, they can offer this plan.
