    Tracfone LG440, LG235 Question

Our local convenience store has the TF LG440 and LG235 advertised and the display says they are app ready. When I go to the TF website I only see the LG 440 and it says nothing about being app ready. So what's the story with these?

As an aside, I noticed in Wally World that Net10 has a package with a sim card you can put in supposedly any 4g smartphone, etc. Any idea on how well that works out? It would be nice if TF would have the same offer. Net10 service days kill me. TF and 90 days gets me though 2 1/2 months and soon I'll be down to needing the 1 year card and that should just about do me fine.

i say mis print on the apps. might take opera mini.

sounds like you would like zact. be sure and plug in your street address on coverage. the buy in on a smart phone is about $9 a month and you can buy minutes and data as needed. smartest plan i have seen. the phone is $100

You only see the LG 440g and other GSM phones because Tracfone has defined your zip code as a GSM market area, that is, it negotiated beneficial contracts with ATT and T-Mobile, both GSM carriers.

If you use zip code 28622, which Tracfone has defined as a CDMA market area, you will bring up the LG 235c and all the other CDMA phones that Tracfone currently offers. A recent post here had some very favorable comments about the LG 235c.
