Sup guys ...
Bought an S4 on sprint off craigslist ... it wasn't cheap and the esn was clean at the time. Two weeks later it stopped working. Sprint says its a bad ESN ...
Is it possible to unlock and use it on Tmobile ? I love this phone and it sucks i cant use it ... will it work on tmobile though if I have an extra line from a S1? It has data ... I got it from work...
I heard that new S4's have both gsm and cdma bands.
I heard you can flash your phones over to a different network though ...
The serial number is blocked from all us carriers. Mexico and Canada have signed similar deals to block bad serial numbers in our neighboring countries.
Our company can flash it to Page Plus Cellular which uses Verizon's network and the bad ESN will not matter.

How did the ESN become bad? Did you have sprint service already and not activate it? Either way on the GSM side it won't work within U.S GSM networks as sprint blocks domestic usage on GSM side. You can flash it to another carrier in the u.s.a like boost, page plus, etc.

The question is how did it just "stop" working two weeks later.
Once it's on your Sprint account, it's yours. They will not retroactive a "bad esn" and make the phone stop working on an account unless it's fraud.
