    MBA Surety Settlement

Got a nice surprise today on my AT&T monthly bill. A $93.45 chargeoff (credit) for the MBA Surety Settlement. I wasn't aware of this case, but I guess I was part of it.
    Nice surprise, huh!!!!

The longer you have been a customer and the more lines you have had, the more you will get.
I started another thread on this topic on July 7.

Let's see what I get, was only a customer for the last 2 months with this contract. Wonder about my pre paid line I had for a while back on 2007.

The settlement only goes through 2010. There is a link in the thread I started.

Where's my check? I had service 2001-2008 on the employee plan with 2 lines. I am jealous.

I've been an ATT customer since 2006 and remain with them today. I don't understand the logic of the payout. Please help explain. The settlement was based on charges ATT made to customers from 2006-2010. With regards to settlement $ amounts, it wouldn't necessarily help me anymore if I were an ATT customer from before 2006. What is the consensus from people re: the average settlement amount? I have consistently had 1 line, and for the better half of that time have been paying give or take $100 a month. I received a $12.52 credit. I find it hard to believe that from 2006, I was overcharged $12.52. Is there a way to view specifically the past bills in which ATT over-charged me? I did appreciate the discount, but would imagine the settlement amounts do not accurately reflect just HOW much money everyone incurred from erroneous billing. I still like ATT, but would like them more if my bill was around $85 instead of $100 each month for the remainder of my current contract.
