New update for LG l9... V10G to V20F is it worth doing?

Was a bit surprised to see an update for the L9 mid day today. After the quick update then pulled after having problems a few months back... Wonder if its worth doing now...

I regretted the upgrade from ICS to the 20d Jelly Bean that same day. Battery life was horrid, there was a wifi bug that would randomly burn 10% of the battery in an hour, a wifi calling bug with a soft failure (no ringing, but then you get the voice mail alert), and difficulty with the media server.

The 20f (recent ) update fixed most of that. Battery life is better than the ICS build now. It is more fluid that it was, probably the project butter. Google now (besides the creep watching you everywhere factor) burns the heck out of the battery and I could not turn it off fast enough. The wifi battery bug is fixed. Overall it is an okay fix seems to have addressed the problems. I am happy I took the upgrade.

Well.... No news is good news.... Just did the update. Was getting tired of the update message. Its now up to 4.1.2 40G.

Like the drop down quickly list add on. Now see if the small not major items were fixed. And bat life was as good as it was...

Doesn't look like they fixed the "move to SD" card problem

Thanks for the feedback. I'm on the fence as well. Waiting for a while longer. Still on 10g.

24 hours in... It seem to be aok! Things like power saving that would turn off or go poof. Wifi seem better... Power consumption is about the same as before. No google more app was installed or cant find it...

Not sure if mike audio is having problems. Only on two callers but was on a Bluetooth car stereo hookup. All others aok!

    So far so good! ^_^

Did not fix the wifi issue for me. Still have a phone which will not work with any wifi system. Big dissapointment to have the JB update ruin a perfectly good phone running ICS when I bought it. Phone is nearly worthless to me without wifi.

Wonder if the wifi part of the chipset is bad?

Its running better. Also looks like lipsync seem to work better with any player and some encoded videos that had problems.

The option to save a video clip in the browser is gone after the JB update. Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling are working fine on my phone.
