I cannot get to site. I keep getting "the website is temporarily or permanently down," since yesterday afternoon.
I looked up the IP address of airvoicewireless.com: http://188.8.131.52/
When I go to that ip directly, I get a page with their name, plus the name Airvoice Unlimited. All the deals are completely different. I cannot tell if this is an old or new situation.
If they are working on their site, they seem to have made a bad job of the transition.
Maybe this is a local problem for me. I am using the Google DNS servers, so I would think they had the latest.
Anybody know what is going on?
Not very promising seeing as I just signed up for service yesterday, but there seem to be power outages in that area of Michigan and my service still works.
Of course I've been waiting for today to setup reoccurring billing on my phone since they don't stack days. Worst possible timing. I read they've been down since yesterday sometime. No word, no announcement. How hard is it to redirect your customers to a backup site with an explanation, customer service phone number, or some reassurance that they are still in business? Seems like they don't know web hosting very well. Makes me reluctant to have them store a credit card now.
Try calling them and ask them what's going on with the website. Let us know..

Was able to buy a pin from a 3rd party and add another 30 days from the phone with *888*<pin>#. I don't want reoccurring billing with them just yet.
After I heard about the T~Mobile ~ Sprint merger
Power must be restored there as the website is back up.
The website has been up & running now.
