But, it helps knowing people. I never paid an activation fee, or for the SIM. I walked away scotch free, AND with a network unlock code. That wasn't so bad. With AIO, there was an activation fee of $20, and a $10 SIM. The plans are pretty awesome.

Stangjames - I like this plan MUCH better than the gophone plan. For $10 more a month, I get 3.5 times more LTE data, and unlimited internet throttled. To answer your question, I have the $70 plan. When I mentioned the APN settings.... theres a story there

I was assured I wouldn't need to add the APN settings in store. I didnt believe them, and demanded the settings printed out. Walking out towards my car, I started manually inputting the settings. As soon as I clicked on APN, my GS4 popped up with a "network update" that changed my default APN settings.
HOWEVER - the default AT&T APN works fine without editing. There isnt any performance difference, which is quite telling. See the carrier name; see the APN type. Interesting, right?

upon further looking into the 1st AT&T invoice, I was not charge 36$ activation fee. when we got home, I went to AT&T store and transferred postpaid to prepaid GoPhone. The associate only wanted to know my contracted account number and PIN to make the transfer. The original sim from postpaid never changed, the APN from postpaid to prepaid never change, the throughput from postpaid to prepaid never change. All this happened prior to the 60$ per 30 days.
when I forced the phone to go into HSPA, the speed is still higher than when I was with ST AT&T sim, so quite happy with the result.
what i'll try to do next is see if I can get data only on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-N5100, since this device can also be used as a phone.

That would be cool. Although, unlimited is enticing I gotta say.

Any way of getting a AIO sim card without living in one of the launched markets? I would have no problems of having a "Foreign" area code (ie florida, texas).

If someone orders a sim card and plan from lets say florida and you ship it to someone in another area how does that person register it if the sim card was mailed to Florida and the person that sets it up is in another state with a different name?

I'm not sure. I saw someone in Alaska using AIO from a SIM ordered in Houston. I think they dont care, as the number and account is treated just like an AT&T account AFAIK. To the previous person, PM me your paypal info and I'll send you a SIM.

This is what came OTA. It showed a weird screen listing the settings. I may factory reset it and see what it does.

only thing that looks diffrent is the apn type ,,,wierd
    - APN type: default,mms,fota,hipri,supl
    - Note: on the above APN type be sure to enter it exactly as it is listed...don't include any spaces!
