Majority of U.S. teens have privacy concerns with mobile apps

    by CBSNews.com

Who knew teens were so concerned about their privacy? According to a Pew Research Center study released Thursday, of the 58 percent of U.S. teens aged 12 to 17 who have downloaded apps to their cell phone or tablet computer, 51 percent have avoided certain apps due to privacy concerns, and 26 percent have uninstalled an app because they found out it was collecting personal information that they didn't wish to share.

Will there be a 32GB version of the phone be available for Verizon? When I check all the sites they seem to be only showing a 16GB version. Without the micro-sd support I need 32GB at the least.

    Only for AT&T folks, atm:
Motorola's online "Moto Maker" tool lets you pick out your device's back color, front color, accent color, and (eventually) a custom engraved message.

But wait: That's available only to AT&T customers at the moment. As is the option to upgrade the phone's internal memory from 16 to 32GB.

Almost — enough to make me think about it. If it just had a mSD slot.

That is unfortunate as there is no Moto Maker for Verizon at least for now. May be Motorola will release a Verizon developer edition

So VZW says that the phone will be able to be purchased online on the 29th of this month, can it be purchased with VZ Edge?

So – tremendous interest – here we are.

Is it there yet? Was NOBODY champing at the bit to order this handset? No quickly up release thread?

Well the phone has not been technically released on Verizon as no one will be able to have the Verizon version in their hands until tomorrow or Tuesday (outside of the testers of course). For what it is worth I ordered a VZW version after I played with the AT&T version.

I was mostly referring to the silence here on order day.

I'll be interested to hear whether the vaunted UX intangibles outweigh, in your estimation, the decried middling specs.
