what kind of apps are available for LG840g ?

    hi
what kind of apps can i download to my LG840g? i noticed most are available for smartphones or iphones but not tracfones. What shoud I be looking for in the type of app available for my cell? I'd like to get the ORC scanning apps but it doesn't appear to be available unless I'm not looking hard enough. Any advice? I'd like to get a gps app but not sure about it. I'm clueless on this type of stuff. Please help!

These are all modified to work, tested, and ready to go:

The best app download site is here, 1200 apps, but you'll
have to edit the manifest.mf file to remove the java keyboard:

Tracfone now has a Samsung Android Phone available for
the Straightalk plans, and so we'll probably have one available
too; before long. You can see it at Samsung's Tracfone list.

Picture Viewer App which can display JPG files (with Previous & Next buttons)?

Is anyone using an J2ME Image Viewer App to display JPG files?
Looking for an App that displays JPG files FULL screen size.
This App sould be able to select folders containing JPG files; it should also have Previous and Next buttons.
    Zoom +/- would be useful.

An App similar to j2me-imageviewer, but with shortcuts for "Go to next Image" and for "Go to Previous Image".
    http://code.google.com/p/j2me-imageviewer/

    Thanks.

    Hi blueship64,

The factory installed pic viewer works fine for me, but I have noticed that some jpgs
formatting isn't readable. I had to open these and re-save them in windows viewer to
    straighten them out.

The best website for our apps is http://looco.mywapblog.com
But you will need to edit & remove the keyboard; or you can email it to me and I'll do it
    for you.

hcupro at the google d0t com.

    Take Cares,
    Harley

    Question Simple Txt File Reader

Newb question: Is there a simple software application like Notepad or Wordpad that can be loaded on the LG840g in the Files folder that will permit me to load and edit (or at least read) simple ASCII or .TXT files? Thanks.

I did a search and found some Java apps on mobilehart.com. I understand that apps for the LG T375 will work. I hope the site is reputable. I've never used mobile apps. Should Java apps be signed to be safe?
