I couldn't even call a Canadian number with my ST $45/month phone, so I'd have to guess no on roaming in Canada and Mexico.
    Caveat emptor.

Be sure to turn off data roaming on your phone. That is about $20 per MB or $20K per GB.

This doesn't cover roaming. Only calls placed from the US to international destinations.

    Straight Talk - Definitely NO.
Ting, however, allows Canadian roaming at a reasonable price compared to Sprint and other carriers.
T-Mobile just introduced new international roaming rates that are very good as well.
You can also find Prepaid SIMs designed for international travellers in the Prepaid Wireless FAQ (see my sig. for the link).
Questions?? Read the FAQs: The Prepaid FAQ . The Straight Talk FAQ

I have blocked some Hofo users and so I don't see and won't respond to messages from them.
