Did it update your Android version? I don't have a Centura but I do have another Samsung (not Tracfone) and about a week or 2 ago it updated itself automatically from 4.0.1 to 4.1.2. Jelly Bean.

    I'm not sure
It's android 4.0.4 now but don't remember what it was before the system update

    coosmac,
Does the build number and baseband version on your Centura end with MC1 (original) or MJ1 (new)? Android 4.0.4 is what the Centura came with.

    Mine have not updated yet.

Congratulations, you have the first successful update to MJ1 I've read about. Now if only we knew what changed.

Has your Centura ever lost time? Wondering if this update includes a fix for that problem?

If you figure out what changed, please post.
    Cheers!

Does it update at random by itself? I tried to "update now" on the system software update under the settings menu, but it states its up to date (MC1).

Does it update on WIFI, or must you be connected to the cell data network?

I have a Nexus 7 tablet, also an android, and when the latest major update came out, they were staggered. Not everyone got them at the same time, so it sounds like your phones are doing the same thing. They do that so it doesn't overload the system. I'll be getting a Valet later today, I wonder if they're getting them too.

As someone else already pointed out, the update is not pushed out to all phones at the same time. It gets rolled out in stages so you just have to be patient. I am extremely curious to see if this fixed the time bug - if so, I may pick one up again! It has a small screen but ran very smoothly and WiFi signal was great. I never really realized how important the WiFi signal is until I bought a Galaxy Tab 3 that basically had to be in the same room as the router.. Terrible.

    one possible change/fix?

before, When I call a number and hang-up before they answer then call right back I use to get fax like tone(or old dial up modem sound) and would lose a minute(the call would not go though).
now that bug seem to be fixed, at least I can't reproduce that bug.

I was able reproduce that bug every time before
