    LG G2 Firmware update

    "We are pleased to announce software version LS980ZVA is now available on the LG G2.

    Enhancement/Fixes

    Sprint Spark band support (BC26 and 41) – refer to Sprint for coverage area.
    Fixes to Google Hangout issues related to VM and MMS.
    Accessibility enhancement – added Closed caption."

    They also changed how 3G and 4G is identified on the screen. Gone are the up and down arrows and the letters LTE after the 4G. For 3g is says 3g with a circle of lines around it that spin when accessing data. For 4g is says 4g with a circle of triangles around it that spin when you access data.

    The update also happened on the HTC One, and probably other phones as well.

    The htc one is not a spark device. Maybe it coincidentally received some kind of firmware update around the same time. Certainly not a spark update to enable bands 26/41.

    I think the update to the HTC One was to enable 800 mhz for cdma and lte. Even though it doesn't support band 26.

    It was my mistake, I remembered seeing an article on Android Central and thought it was the HTC One, but it was the G2. My bad!
