I'm not sure why they went with 2GB of RAM instead of 3. This is their flagship phone, after all.

And Rogers /Fido chose to carry 16gb (read 8gb ) only, yet again. Massive fail. Skipping this year.

Why pay more for hardware when you can easily (and much more cheaply) add a memory card?
It is sad I need to state the obvious but some people just don't get it. Any posts I make are my own OPINIONS and in no way represent the views of my employer

    +1

I have the 64 GB HTC One and I'm loving it. A flagship should have a minimum 32GB with a 64GB option. I understand Google wants to phase out external storage but I wouldn't mind having external storage on my phone.

Another reason they shouldn't have bothered with a 16 GB option. Should have been 32 GB minimum. And, they can't say cost was a reason because flash memory costs a pittance these days. They could have avoided this criticism so easily.

I have never seen an app I could not move (even if it auto installs on phone memory you can then move to card)

Android has numerous file managers available

That's one thing I have to hand to Apple. They refine the end user experience to a point where you don't need workarounds to use your phone as intended. I don't see my mom being able to figure out how to move apps to an SD Card.

Also, can widgets be moved to external storage yet?

From my experience, tons of apps cannot be moved to SD card.

Any chance Fido will carry the Electric Blue model? Thats the one I am after but would prefer to buy it directly instead of trying to buy the back cover seperately later on.
