Can't wait to get it finally!

No reason to pre-order and pay full-price for it at $199. A few weeks post-launch, BestBuy/Sams/etc always run deals on these. Picked up the S4 for $129 a week after launch at Best Buy last year.

I promised myself no more contracts and no more phone installments.

I have to pay $649.99 if I want it. Deciding between this and the new HTC to hold me over till the new iPhone comes out.

I believe this will support AT&T's Carrier Aggregation for a better network experience.

I'm hoping Samsung doesn't release another device with data connectivity issues like I had with the Note 3. That thing kept camping on GSM only for no reason.

Ehh I'm still not sure if I'm going to take the plunge on the S5. I've owned every single Galaxy series to date. But this may be the one I skip. Might make this one a game-time decision lol.

Will be picking it up, just can't picture myself with an iPhone and my SGS3 is getting a bit aged.

I'm weird I guess. I like Android and iOS but for different reasons. When I get tired of one I switch to the other; and vice versa.

I guess I'm more of a gadget geek than I am loyal to any mobile OS.

I like my Galaxy S4, but I can't stand all the useless crap Samsung forces you to have on your phone. I'm curious to see if the S5 continues that trend.

Of course AT&T's version comes with useless bloat that just runs in the background and locked bootloaders. I pre-ordered the s4 last year from them, but I saw that phone as an improvement.

Don't see this one being any more useful than what is already out there. If I was going to plop down that much change, I would still get the Note 3.

Not to toot Apple's horns, but I don't see this as an issue with the iPhone. Of course Apple probably told AT&T that they didn't want their iPhones setup with a lot of crapware.

Exactly. Samsung is just as powerful as Apple nowadays. Why can't Samsung sell one phone all over the world? I never understood why they build phones specifically for the carriers. AT&T will F the phone up with bloatware. The AT&T bloatware will be running in the background unless you root and freeze it. With 2GB of ram, I am concerned. I do not understand why a 2013 phone has 3GB of ram (Note 3) and a 2014 phone has 2GB.

Once iPhone releases an iPhone 6 that's 5 inches then it's game over.

In terms of finding a phone that's not absurdly oversized? I hate these ever-larger phones. It's ridiculous. I like my iPhone 4S, and it's got a few more years of life left, but eventually, it will need to be retired for an LTE device...
I usually support government regulation, but It is unfortunate that the government over-regulated and killed the AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger
The best explanation of the pricing nutiness in the industry.
Why Sprint and T-Mo will always suck.
The only way to end the pricing insanity is to eliminate contracts and subsidies.
I want Wifi calling on AT&T.
If you text while driving, you're an idiot. End of story.

Okay just bought mine. Premier didn't give me an option to pay full MSRP and made me choose to use Next so I guess I'll just call CS and pay off the balance.

Geez and 2 minutes after I place my online order it was "cancelled due to technical difficulties."
