in my area people that have Sprint get laughed at. Unless you have a signal booster antenna indoors it's not worth having.

    It's all good (^_^)

Yeah it does seem this section of the forum has died down a bit >_<

Well maybe with Docomo releasing their own Flip + Android type phone this summer, it will pick back up again?

Hope you are doing better in the job / income department since last year

CA has nice weather...but man does it cost a lot to live there. I have friends who are making about 100k a year in LA and SF...and they still struggle to make ends meet and pay their bills. Taxes in CA rape your wallet

Still breathing here. Just got back from Taiwan/Japan to find that no one really sports keitais anymore. Those keitai shops are almost all non-existant. It's all about the latest Samsung/HTC/iPhone these days.

Also with the fabulous moment of when MNVO carriers are completely unusable from 5PM to 5:30PM as everyone is getting out of work.... watching LTE networks drop in speed down to barely EDGE rates.

I check the forum every single day... only to find nothing new in it. And maintain my Sharp Devices website regularly.
Well, I guess switching over from traditional keitai to smartphone did kill the excitement of having a Japanese phone for many.

Not for me though. I am enjoying the SH-01G I got about a month ago. Fantastic camera, especially night-time shots, I post an occasional photo on Facebook to brag. Amazing battery - the minimum it lasts is FOUR days, the maximum SIX. The EDGEST display, too. But true, there's no accounting for taste.

I only switched due to the spectrum bands for my carrier that is way the heck different from everything else. And more or less I need to be on my phone to get my e-mails from work..... Occasionally I need to remotely access a few systems as well so having a stable connection would be beneficial.

Have you reviewed that phone, Cheeseus? I'd be interested in seeing the photos it produces.
