Settings > Cellular > on this screen you will see:
    Active network as Public Mobile.
Data roaming option as don't roam
    Highest connection speed as 3G
Network Selection: Automatic or Telus Which ever works

    then Edit APN

    apn as : sp.mb.com
user name as: Blank do not enter anything
Password as: Blank do not enter anything hear also
    Proxy server/URL as : 74.49.0.18
    Proxy port as: 80

then save your enteries and then restart your phone and when it restarts turn of your wifi to test. you should be able to go on line and use the internet explore. then of course turn it back on to safe Data usage when at a wifi hot spot.

Interesting... I was having fits trying to get MMS working on an Android phone
I got the idea from link provided try copy Koodo settings

On my device entering port + proxy on BOTH MMS & internet is REQUIRED
So do not leave blank contrary to TZ first posting

Anyone else try to test this? Is it an HTC thing or a Public thing or just my phone is possessed thing?

    Nexus 5 settings

    Please go to
System Settings -> More -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names
Now click on the little "+" sign to create a new APN and fill it up with the following information.

    Name: Public Mobile
    APN: sp.mb.com
    Proxy: <Leave blank>
    Port: <Leave blank>
    Username: <Leave blank>
    Password: <Leave blank>
    Server: <Leave blank>
    MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
    MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
    MMS port: 80
    MCC: 302
    MNC: 220
    Authentication type: <Leave blank>
    APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri,dun
Once all this is done, power down your phone (hold down power, wait for the prompt, tap Turn off device) and reboot it like usual.

    Thanks David
