Post How to connect my smartphone to receive alarms whenever there are intruders at home?

I am wondering if this is possible. They were planning to install a security system, and I am wondering if there's an app of ways to be connected to control the alarm or receive notifications.

    Thank you in advance.

If you have big plan to install a security system in your house then you can create your own mobile app which would be connected to control the alarm or receive notifications. For this you need to hire mobilepundits

Or any other small IT company for that matter, but it will still cost around $20k for such a system. The best thing you can do is to buy one that is already developed, I'm sure a brief trip to an electronics shop will get you all the answers.

Hmmm. nowadays with IFTTT app, I believe you can pair it with some Nest-esque program that automatically informs you when a motion detector light is turned in between 8am and 5pm for example.

Ummm. There are very inexpensive alarm systems that can be programmed to dial a cell number whenever an alarm goes off. Some even contact your phone with video. These alarms a readily available in Amazon and don't even require a subscription service, just access to a phone line in the home.

I think iSmartAlarm can do that, it has an app for Android and iPhone users. Not sure though about the specifics.
