    Question T68/Blutetooth/laptop data sync

Has anyone succesfully synced their T68m phone with Outlook over bluetooth?
I have been trying, but cannot get them to swap data.
I can pair the two, and they see each other, but that's it.

Also, I'm running WinXP, can that have an impact because of it's lack of integrated BT support and the fact that there are no specific XP drivers for my Xircom BT adapter?

I discovered that install order is very critical - as is NOT runny Active Sync - here is what I did to get it working with WinXP Pro.
    --------------------

    Do this:
On a clean machine (that has never had the ericsson phone monitor)

    Install bluetooth adapter
Let BT adapter install native port drivers (such as serial, DUN, Fax, LAN)
    Reboot
Make sure that you only have one set of COM ports
    ----
Now install latest Ericsson software for your phone (I used R3A02 for T39)
Say yes on all of the warnings, exept the IRMC driver for XTNDConnect (I didn't have an IR port so I told XP to not install it)
    Reboot
    -----
Once you have BT + Phone Monitor, go to control panel and change the Ericsson phone monitor. On the COM "Tab" disable and unreserve all ports
On the Setup "tab" select the "Only display icon when phone is connected"
    ---
Now go to your bluetooth software and look for where it tells you the Serial CLIENT COM port is (not the host port).
Now either from the BT software or from your phone initiate a "Pairing" (you will need to make sure you have a password on your desktop/laptop).
Once you have a pairing, go on - if you can't get a pairing then stop.
Set your phone bluetooth setting to "on" not automatic.
    ---
Go back to the Phone Monitor applet in Control Panel.
Go back to the COM tab.
Enable (but don't reserve the Serial Client COM port identified in the BT software.
    Reboot
    ---
Now on bootup/login, you should see the bluetooth software load, then the phone icon for XTNDConnect - and a little bit later a second phone icon with a checkmark though it (that means the Ericsson Phone Monitor see's your phone using bluetooth).

At this point you should be able to do a "slow" sync.
After that, you need to go to the Port's section of the device manager to increase the host and client Port baud rate from 9600 to whatever works for you.
After a full sync, you should have "slow sync" anymore.
    -----
After all this is working, now you can install Active Sync or other PDA sync software. Please note: ActiveSync 3.5 will cause problems with the phone monitor if it is "connected" so leave your PDA undocked when you want to do a Bluetooth Sync with your phone.

    I hope this helps.
    Luck
