    red pocket $10 plan cannot check balance?

    I just activated red pocket $10 1GB data only plan.

    How do I check data balance? All the methods on this page don't work:

    E.g.

    *777# - invalid MMI code
    http://goredpocket.com/checkyouraccount - says remaining balance is UNLIMITED

    Funny... I just finished getting off the phone with them for the same reason. There is no way to officially check online or on your phone. You have to call in. Be prepared to wait on hold. In the couple months I've been using this, I find my phone keeps pretty close track of the data and usually is showing I've used a bit more than RedPocket says I have. You don't want to top up until the last minute, or you will lose whatever data you have left. The data doesn't sit there in your account waiting to be used when the current data runs out. It replaces whatever is there.

    I haven't used Red Pocket Mobile in close to 1 year but you can try going through my blog on the various methods that I used to check the balances in the past for Red Pocket Mobile *HERE*.

    ^^ it is my understanding that this doesn't work for data-only plans.

    I have the $5/512MB data-only plan and I can check balance by using the #WEB# command everyday without any issues.

    OK, after reading your post, I tried it and got the following reply. First time I ever had a code go through. OTOH, I am subscribed to the $10/1gb plan, and have used data... But it is telling me I have every mb remaining. Hmmm

    How well the #WEB# command works varies by area and the problem is on T-Mobile's end. Every time this happens, I have Red Pocket submit a ticket to TMO's engineers for me and the problem is usually fixed within a few days. I'm not going to waste my time reporting it this time, though, as my phone's built-in data meter does the job.

    Ah. OK. So I'm not the only one with issues. Lol My phone gauges the data fairly accurately, too, so it is easy to keep track.

    Where do you find the $5/512MB data only plan? I could only find a $10/1GB called the "starter plan".

    Has anyone had success checking your balance using *777#, *777*1#, or *777*2#? When I try each of those (found those tips online) I get a recording that says, "Welcome to Verizon Wireless, your call cannot be completed as dialed....."

    I have also tried checking my balance online at "goredpocket.com/checkyouraccount" but it doesn't give me any information.

    BTW, I'm on the $19.99 CDMAV plan.
