This is old news. Buy your device outright, and keep your plan. There's no other way.
    Un-Rogered, and getting better 'value'.

As a Rogers customer for the past 15 years, not a single late payment, and multiple services. I am disgusted at the rate pans Rogers have offered me on new devices. Being forced to change your plan and literally a plan increase of $50 per line is not acceptable! Sadly, it looks like I will be taking my 5 cell lines to Telus very shortly.

You will probably find you are going to be better off buying new phones outright, carriers have all raised their prices and the extra costs will add up to way more then what you save on the phone. Once you do the math and talk to other carriers you will find you either have to pay more to get less or buy out right and keep your current 6gb Koodo had a good deal unlimited calling and 2gb for less the $60 but only if you bring your own phone.

Same deal when I want to the iphone 6. Had the same rate for years, 6 gigs plan, UL text, MMS, 250 day mins, $70..then they wanted $135. Are you high? Bought it outright instead. Telus was no better, rate wise, but that was Nov
