I used up my monthly fast data and now I can still use the 4G to watch YouTube and others.

I, too, am getting 512k up and down throttled on the $45 plan. It is usable. Web pages are no where near instant loading, but it isn't bad. Netflix works, though the resolution looks like something around 240p. The throttling does not appear to lift for me at night.

I'm a recent GoPhone subscriber on the $60 plan and I too am experiencing the increased throttle. I'm in the Greater Washington, DC area. Speed tests are attached.

Why would they give the $45 plan a faster throttle than the more expensive plan?

Does anyone know if this is actually a change in their terms of service or is it just that they are relaxing the throttle sometimes, for now, etc.....I know they got slapped for throttling the "unlimited" customers so they are trying to relax throttling in general when the network bandwidth allows them to do so....

I don't see any reason why they would but if it's a glitch or something it was wondering if any $60 plan customers had it because all of the previous posts were people saying they were on the $45 plan. I remember when GoPhone started adding the unlimited data plans to their website it said "512 Kbps" for the throttle initially but then they changed it to 128 Kbps before it launched.

Well if this settles down as the new normal sure makes GoPhone a lot more attractive.

    Basically $45 for unlimited everything!

Now if they'd only add roaming, even if just T&T at extra charge. . .

Never.... Roaming is expensive and that's why GoPhone is cheaper.

Straight talk is a large company that has different roaming agreements. I'm not sure about this but I heard they are just for voice. But ST also has other problems with them.
