AT&T granted ST that privilege for money

Since people - particularly postpaid customers - know GoPhone is AT&T, they definitely want GoPhone to be an inferior service, or it will accelerate the disappearance of the very profitable postpaid cash-cow business.

I'm also in the DC area using the $60 plan and I had the 128 Kbps throttle as of this past Sunday. When did you last renew?

My throttle is back to 128k now. Not really usable anymore.

I guess too many people were too vocal about the cap being increased. AT&T must read these posts and decided to correct the "glitch".

I highly doubt that AT&T was unaware that they were allowing faster speeds, then someone read this forum and figured it out and they decided to fix it.

Is everyone else that was having increased throttled speeds back to 128 Kbps now?

Just a glitch, let's not get too full of ourselves here!

May have been a social engineering experiment, see if there's a spike in new subs as a result.

Subscribed about two weeks ago on the $60 plan. I'm down on the OBX of NC for the weekend, and thus far speeds are above normal throttle.Name: ImageUploadedByHoFo1436492840.842080.jpg

That's still a decent throttle speed.

Throttled Speeds with Opera Mini or UC Browser work quite well.
PREPAID means I have all the power.
They want me, but they can't have me...

    Virgin Mobile: $35 / $1 | AT&T PREPAID: .25/Min
