    So if a customer comes in with their own device is it treated as a month to month?

    Why wouldn't it be? Been that way for years, nothing is changing in regards to that.

    Yes, I just did this with a hotspot. I enrolled in a post-paid data only plan and there is no contractual obligation and the monthly fee and data amount was far better on the post-paid side than the pre-paid side.
