    Flashed Phone help

    I know this has probably been asked a MILLION times, so here it is again.
    1. What does it mean to have your phone flashed?
    2. What does it do to your phone once its flashed?
    3. How do you tell if your phone needs to be flashed?:confused

    1. What does it mean to have your phone flashed?
    It means some information is sent to the flashing area of the phone that will alter the firmware.

    2. What does it do to your phone once its flashed?
    You can do anything with flashing the phone. You can kill it, you can recover or fix it.

    3. How do you tell if your phone needs to be flashed?
    None, until you think you need a firmware upgrade or the phone is not working not due to hardware related matter.

    1. Flashing means installing new software or firmware on the phone.
    2. Flashing will fix bugs, enhance features, make things on the phone work more efficiently, increase signal performance, etc.
    3. If you are experiencing problems your phone may need to be flashed. Most people go their whole lives without ever getting a phone flashed or even knowing what the hell it means. They just live with the problems or complain to the place where it was purchased and they fix it by replacing it or flashing it.

    You here about it on these forums because these people are obsessed with the topic. Honestly, now that you have been exposed to these evils, just check a forum that discusses your model of phone and see what everyone is discussing. That's how everyone learns about it.
