3x CA 12+2+30 (I believe) in Wilkes-Barre PA. Starting to see speeds like this in more places. Have seen 2x CA (12+2) before with max speeds around 75Mbps but this is shocking especially given the time of day. Used to struggle to use data at all in this particular spot just a year ago.

Out in rural Central PA between Pottsville and Sunbury on Route 61, all towers are now LTE. The last one was just upgraded last week. There are only two towers in a Williamsport—Harrisburg—Hazleton triangle that are 4G only yet (Pine Grove off I-81 and a very rural tower off Route 147 north of Halifax. In addition, I’m seeing new deployments of B5, B29, and B30. In April, B2 was widened in much of Central PA to 15 MHz.

Nice to see that, also with the B5 deployments too. Wish they’d get the Tunkhannock area done, was up last week and data is 4G and literally unusable. Could not load anything and iMessages struggled to send. Luckily I had my Verizon Hotspot with me and it was blazing fast. The site at Lake Carey is LTE now and blazing fast but that doesn’t help the other areas.

Speed tests start at 40-50 mbps for the upload during the first 5 seconds, then slip to 10-20 mbps.

Really nice speeds. Mine are up as well overall unlike what blowhard Legere wants to claim, saying AT&T is down recently. T-Mobile still pales in comparison to AT&T in coverage and speed in central and eastern PA, though he is right about Verizon - since unlimited launched my speeds have TANKED overall. When B4 finally launched on the site at my place outside of Wilkes-Barre I easily could get ~75x25 any time of day, now I'm lucky to get 8-10 down and 5-8 up. It's really shocking. There are a few areas that are still quick but you can really feel the difference.

AT&T has been upping backhaul in PA, but I have not seen any densification efforts recently.

AT&T is in a good position due to their spectrum that's deployed and what they have for future capacity. They just need to densify more . Verizon needs more spectrum period. Their densification efforts are still taking a hit with high data use.

Same. Not really seeing any new sites from any carrier. Speeds are definitely up on most sites in the Philadelphia region.

    B30 + 29 in Selinsgrove, PA

Speeds have increased since the addition of these bands in the late summer. Sites here now have B12 10x10, B2 15x15, B5 5x5, B30 10x10, and B29 10x0.

That’s the same speeds I’ve seen from AT&T near Atlantic City. They have a ton of spectrum down that way and beat Verizon in terms of data performance and speed

They have band 30 in many exurban and rural areas. Part of it is going to be for fixed wireless. They're working on getting the unpaired spectrum deployed, but are having problems with interference.
