    Pennsylvania 4G HSPA+/LTE Speed Tests

0 throughout on LTE in Chestnut Hill today. Was 25-30 a few weeks ago. Network isn't able to scale up for events I guess as its some Harry Potter festival.

Meanwhile 4g is 2.3/1 which is more than usable.

At the Wawa in Blakeslee, PA. Actually surprised it wasn't lower with all the NY/Jersey tourists in the Poconos. Still very usable though. Usually see 40+Mbps/10Mbps here. My GF on Verizon had poor(er) speeds as well.

Speeds here have dramatically improved in the last few weeks. I was only ever able to peak at around 8-10mbps prior to this semester. Also, the fact that this is Band 2 and I am inside a building is also pretty astonishing. I usually revert to Band 17 indoors.

Sigh, I don't think Philly is ever going to actually improve and stay improved. Regardless of all of their "improvements."

This is wideband band 2 15x15 at one of the largest employers and skyscrapers in the city (Comcast). Outside.

Ps this is the best I've received. This is pathetic with 35x35 total spectrum dedicated to LTE. Even Sprint could rock a network with that portfolio. Most are .25 down and even hspa+ sucks today. It's so slow I can't watch Netflix (even connect) while waiting to be picked up (oh the joys of car pooling with my husband). Wtf am I paying for?

Maybe you should consider switching to TMO? Their network is usable in Philly.

I've watched Netflix with no problem when AT&T had the old hard throttling policy. But what you have is 22 pings which is pretty good.

Still barely usable at lunch time, but during the morning rush center city's business district has been a solid 19/5 for the past week with pings hovering between 28-35. Been a combination of B2 15x15 or B4 10x10, with no carrier aggregation since I have an iPhone 5 still.
