Had the pleasure of visiting the Philadelphia area over the set few days. Guess who's finally worth their salt in University City! Granted this is the fastest of around 20 tests I did over 3 days, but the network never even got close to these speeds around 4 months ago. Attachment 132932

I don't know what gives for such crappy upload speeds on this tower at Knoebels Amusement Resort. With CA enabled, it makes for poor upload speeds if Band 2 is the primary band. Looking forward to CA enhancing upload speeds hopefully in the next few years.

AT&T always does this. They never announce upgrades and what happens I get suprised.

They're much more focused on announcing how much data is used at major sporting events these days than LTE upgrades, which in my opinion are MUCH more important to customers.

Been getting pings in the 30s all this week throughout Central PA.

What do lower pings represent? Why have speeds remained the same, but a sudden drop in ping times lately?

Could be a newer release was launched. If VoLTE isn't live there yet, expect it in the next month or two. CA as well.

It's brand new! And this is the speed? 10x10 band 4. Last week it was 4g only and it was usually 7-8mbps. Maybe they're waiting on back haul?

Obviously you're disappointed, but aside from posting speed tests that eclipse some threshold, what limitations would you face with those speeds? I can't think of any apps that'd be hindered (that I use) with such speeds.

Because if it is 10/2 today, it'll be 5/1 in 3 weeks, etc. It certainly won't affect usability today.

If many other cities are seeing these crazy speeds...I don't see why it isn't possible in Philadelphia. It's brand new, we shouldn't have to settle for mediocre speeds.
