Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon and boxes full of tape.

Here's The Speed I Get On AT&T's Band 17 At 102 Dbm In East Colorado Springs, Peterson AFB Area. Pretty Decent For Band 17.Attachment 132741

That's Not Bad For Band 17 Though As 700 Mhz Has Slower Speeds.

    and why would that be?

    Galaxy S7 - Carrier Aggregation Band 30 10 MHz PCC + Band 4 10 MHz SCC1 + Band 12 10 MHz SCC2
    iPhone 7 - Carrier Aggregation Band 4 10 MHz PCC + Band 2 10 MHz SCC1 + Band 12 5 MHz SCC2

Because 700Mhz Band 17 Is Made For Better Coverage, Building Penetration And Lower Capacity With Slower Speeds And 1900Mhz Band 2 Is Made For Faster Speeds And Higher Capacity But Less Coverage And Less Building Penetration.

That s some good crack you're smoking. Band 17 and band 2 provide the same speeds and capacity in a 5x5 or 10x10 MHz block. The advantage for band 2 or 4 over 17 is they can have larger channel sizes, 15x15-20x20.

Yeah When You Have Band 2 20Mhz Your Speeds Are Going To Be Faster And Higher Capacity With 15Mhz And 20Mhz

but all things equal there's no advantage for speed between the two.

only if they have the spectrum to deploy it. and this isn't necessarily true. I've seen AT&T PCS LTE travel much further than VZ 700 LTE.

Depends on the area. Mine has LTE of 10x10 on bands 17, 4 and 2. Band 2 won't be faster unless it is just less congested.
