I'll be posting my speed tests soon.
Yep, I live here in Bristol, VoLTE is crystal clear it's a huge improvement. I think AT&T has the best network in this area can't wait for them to refarm PCS for LTE as well deploy WCS Band 30.

    AT&T 4G HSPA+/LTE Speedtests!

Main and Kennedy, Highland, IN band 2:

Meijer Parking lot Highland, band 2. Also my first time breaking 80 Mbps!

    Inside Meijer, band 2:

And then I broke 100 for the first time ever! Meijer parking lot band 2+17:

    Driving down the road:

At the post office. Used to not even break 2 Mbps here. Band 2:

In my driveway. Have only ever exceeded that once and it was odd.

    Band 2 indoors at lunch:

And band 2+17 on my home tower:

In my house on a tower further away then my usual:

The upgrades made no difference inside at home, because I'm too far away to pick up anything but weak B17. They need to add a tower near where I live badly.

Just 3-4 months ago I was posting mostly all sub 10 Mbps speed tests from these places! AT&T finally got off its lazy behind and hit a few buttons to widen band 2 and we got what you see above now.

I don't need it. I only need wifi for data. VoLTE works just fine.

Top 3 are me-- EDGE vs. HSPA+ vs. LTE B4+17 at the AT&T store (mall location) in Watertown, NY

Getting similar speeds to the ZTE, just took a pic on here because of Samsung's Service Mode

They have by far the best network here. Here's speeds from the Verizon store in the same mall & my T-Mobile speeds.

Seems like T-Mobile is starting to neglect their HSPA+ network these days. AT&T's HSPA+ is still pretty sold. While not as fast as LTE, but definitely better than evdo/1x.

Now for the first time ever since switching to AT&T I'm connecting to band 2 inside my house and staying on it! Until I pick my phone up that is. It'll hover at -102 dbm until I pick it up, then drop to -118 and flip back to B17.

So while it was sitting on my desk I got this on band 2, at rush hour mind you, from a tower in a crowded shopping area three miles from here:

    AT&T's tower management is just sad....they put every phone that's capable of B2 on B2, leaving B17 empty.....Attachment 133200Attachment 133201

By the way, this is the first time my tower is getting B2. I've never seen such low signal quality, ever....

nope, that might be specific to your area. the tower that I sit on at home has 2/4/17, and the load is balanced almost perfectly. Luckily I'm close enough that I get a great signal on all 3 bands, and speeds are MUCH better than they were when it was Band 17.

I think so, there's no CA on this tower, yet.

It's funny because in my area AT&T would leave every device on band 17 most of the time when B2 and 4 were available. Now after they widened B2 that became top priority and they also increased the threshold before it drops to B17. B4 is only 5x5 while 2 is a 10x10, so band 4 is a second priority.
In Chicago both bands are 10x10 so priority is the same and they load balance perfectly.
