Urrgh. So tempting. It's also available online for $9.99 w free shipping:

Have to keep reminding myself that I don't need another phone.

    Hahaha that's not right!

They are useful and small enough to have lots and lots of them.

Or so I keep telling myself...

Not much was ever said about that swap other than it worked.

Can you see the APN on the original phone?

That could be a 3G APN, and while unlikely, you may have got a 3G only SIM. It would be the first report of that, as others said 4G worked with the SIM from that phone.

I'm making this reply to close out the conversation. Not wanting to further hijack the thread from the OP.

Yesterday, on the ZTE Maven I set up a new APN called PRODATA, with settings from THIS THREAD . It let me save it and select it. But every time I turned on Data, it switched from PRODATA back to the TFDATA one. Finally, I let it stay at TFDATA, tested MMS and browsing using Data, they work.

This morning, I put the Sunrise SIM back into the Sunrise for testing. With Data ON, using TFDATA, it showed 4G, both MMS and browsing worked. When I selected PRODATA, the 4G symbol disappeared, both MMS and browsing stopped working.

So, looks like when using a SIM from a Tracfone-branded GSM smartphone, you have to use the APN settings that came with it in member TFDATA.

    I couldn't resist so I ordered one.
My grand total was $12.69 with tax and 911 fees.

For some reason your link didn't work for me so here's another.

I wonder who here on this forum would win the "Who Has the Most Phones" contest. There could be multiple variants like most different models too .

The question as to whether it is just for your own use or for extended family friends neighbors, helping your town Social Services department, working with women's shelters etc if you have over 100 lines under management and a lot of those are operating with quotyour phones, would definitely skew the numbers wouldn't it?

    I guess we could limit this to only phones personally used by the poster for at least 30 days. :}

Well I have boxes full of phones that nobody else has ever touched that wouldn't meet that criteria. Like anything else it's not so much the answer, but how you frame the question that's important

I was wondering what the extra fees were on mine, the paid price was $9.99 and my state sales tax is 6% so it should have been $10.59 but it was $10.78.

My Lumia 640 at $29.99 plus 6% sales tax should have been $31.79 but was $32.37.
I have not bought any phones at retail in a while so maybe they add the e-911 fee to phones now as well as refills?

I'm slowly accumulating them: (10) Moto EX431s, LG420, LG440, LG800, LG840, ZTE Valet, L38C Fuel, L15G Sunrise, L41C U2, ZTE Maven. All are still in working condition. I need to get away from the thinking "It's just $10-$20 and can be used as a GPS, camera, MP3 player, etc". By the time you add a case and a micro SD card, they add up. I certainly don't need five GPS devices. It's like having 5 copies of today's newspaper.

How did you order. I only see check your stores, no way to add to cart.

This was an online only deal and currently sold out, but check back every few hours as they may be throttling the sale.
    Cheers!

The same deal comes and goes, sometimes it's available for ordering, sometimes it says "SOLD OUT ONLINE". I guess Best Buy wants to stretch out the sale or wants you to keep checking their web site.
