I just received mine. Unlike the few others, I am impressed with it. I ordered the Huawei b890 modem. My phone goes in and out of LTE at the spot Im at so I thought I might need an antenna. After setting it up, it stays locked to LTE and I'm getting speeds of 10 up and 10 down. I dont have my tv setup yet but I did 1080P video on youtube and netflix on my phone and both loaded quickly. Watching 2 thigns at once probably will be a challenge but it is what it is

Just got mine also, we'll see how long it last. I got a portable device the ZTE Z915 hotspot.

Initial test was showing around 4mbps. But that's what I'm currently getting on my cell phone as well so it must be congestion in my area.

    Test on through the hotspot

Well, hotspot got disconnected and is unable to find signal. Called and they'll send out a new sim. Was told it Might've had to do with phone number being reassigned and disconnected my sim on the hotspot. Sure hope that's the case, don't think it has to do with data usage as I've only used 2.6 Gig of data.

I'll keep updating after new sim comes through the mail. They did ask me to pick it up locally, but I'll wait for the snail mail to come through.

For them to resell Cricket service at around the same price as the Cricket unlimited plan, its kind of a disappointment to me. I was going to jump on this until I saw that the pings were high. I work for Cricket and I get a hefty discount on service so it definitely doesn't pay for me to switch.

Yea, it depends where you live. For me in the Chicago area pings are high.

But honestly I did play a few online games and it was playable and surprisingly stable.

I'm in SE Michigan. Sometimes pings are in the 90s and other times they'll be 150-230.

If my pings were that low, I would drop T-Mobile and make Cricket my main line.

This line has served me quite well My months of relatively high usage are likely over, as Charter became available at another of our places and it was connected on the 22nd. I may not even hit 400GB this month.

Ah ok, yea they average 160-200 for me. But it's stable for being what it is.

99% of the use over this last cycle was non-tethered use in a Galaxy Note 4 (no torrents, ISOs, etc) Previous cycles have seen quite a bit of tethering, however.

Good guy report. The owner of 4GHS Robert xxxxxxx refunded my funds on the Roger's hot spot that didn't work at LTE plus offered a replacement modem that has all of the needed LTE bands. He apologized for the negative experience and really seems to want to make it right. The Rogers hotspot is no longer being sold according to him.

I think I might give it another try.

Robert should start selling the T-Mobile Z915 hotspot unlocked. It works perfectly with cricket and contains the important AT&T bands for 3G/4G/LTE (850/1900, 2/4/5/12).

That's what I got from him. It works like a charm. I'm really impressed with Robert and his customer service. I had a sim go bad but Robert sent me a new sim next Day Mail. So far these guys are Outstanding. And would Recommend them.
