There are new retention plans, more GB/$$. See the other thread

I've been with AT&T over 15 years. How do you reach Retentions or Loyalty Programs? Is there a specific number to call or can it be done online via chat? Thanks

Dial 611 and say "cancel" when prompted. That should get you to retentions.

Oh, those are nice! That's the first place I saw it today, but I've been running around all day and not able to respond.

So you're saving $40 and getting 10GB more or dropping down to 32GB? Either way that's great.

I had 3 lines on the 20GB so my savings only works out to $5 with the line increase, factor in the FAN and even less than that.

I'm tempted to try the 12GB and just juggle my plan when necessary (usually use more than 12GB but this month I came in under 10GB), but that'll blow my rollover if I ever have any....

    Thanks again!

Yeah, but if you're ever in a situation where you switch up later in the bill cycle, you'll get most of it as rollover. I switched to the 40GB plan on the last day of my billing cycle and had 38.9GB of rollover next month.

    Yes.

I had a coworker try to get one of the new retention plans a short while ago and he wasn't successful

    No go here either.

Either these plans exist and are just hard to get.

Or they don't exist at all. They made no reference to them at all.

Were they still trying to offer the old plans? I had a feeling this might happen, I'll bet nobody even knows about the new plans yet if they do exist.

That's interesting, maybe that would work for me.

I was offered the old plans.. Works for me anyway. I'll take 20GB for $100.

I just called in and got the impression that these new plans haven't even gone live yet. I think the guy I spoke to definitely would've given it to me if it were. Does this mean it's delayed or did someone at AT&T decide that was too good of a deal?

I'm on chat since I can do that and work (barely haha).

REP: That plan can only be get through Customer Relations team or you can call it in. On my end, I only have access what is advertised by the website

EDIT: Was a no go. Only offered the 10 or 16 plan, which is a worse value than what I currently have. Rep seemed a little confused because she kept offering a 20GB plan (I am already on that plan!) for $100.
