You can use any phone with an ESN clear for activation on the Vzw network.

If you have some kind of problem with Expo Mobile then please explain what it is. Or if you have a good reason -- any good reason -- for my not using Expo Mobile, please enlighten me. Otherwise will you please do us all a favor and stop wasting our time posting useless comments like this?

I'm not arguing either way, because I don't know. I'm just wondering why there are several reports at http://micallen.freeforums.org/80-ye...ions-t150.html that any remaining balance of a PW $80 annual plan carries forward if a new $80 plan is added before the current plan's expiration date, while it appears that people on HoFo are reporting that any remaining balance is confiscated by PW upon renewal.

Thanks to any one that can provide some clarity on these conflicting reports!

Same with me. I only reported what "aczlan" wrote two days ago in this thread:

"The balance expires after a year. I just looked at my pay-go line
and it renewed on the 10th, then they removed the leftover
balance from the previous plan on the 14th."

If I understand this correctly, it appears that Puppy will sell you a new plan at any time, and the term of that new plan will begin immediately ... but the purchase of this new plan will not change any pre-existing plan. Therefore when the previous plan reaches its expiration date its remaining balance is lost, rather than being rolled over into the new plan.

Thanks to any one that can provide some clarity on these conflicting reports!
Agreed. My theory above could be wrong, so a clear explanation here would certainly help.

Since your post has nothing to do with the immediately preceding posts, were you replying to this?

Expo.. except for their $10 paygo , not really spectacular...

Expo's paygo used to be way better then it is overall. On the $100 plan you got a full year. Rollover no though and you had 4g/lte speeds now they dropped it to 128kj.. Now it's limited to 120 days no matter what you put beyond $10, $30 and up is all $120 days. And their monthly plans aren't the greatest either. A mediocre rate mvno . Two things they do have going for them, they are probably more stable then a lot of newer ones and they have 24 hour customer care.

I couldn't care less about what used to be. NOW is what I am dealing with.

Now it's limited to 120 days no matter what you put beyond $10.
My only concern is the 90-day $10 paygo plan, because it is the absolutely the lowest per-unit plan in existence for such a small entry fee. No other Verizon MVNO comes close to 2 cents per unit for only $10 upfront -- with no taxes, no monthly fees, and no other hidden charges!

    A mediocre rate mvno.
For you maybe, but certainly not for me ... and not for anyone else like me who desires no data on a Verizon MVNO that offers the lowest possible annual cost for a reasonable allotment of minutes/texts, the lowest upfront fee, and lower per-unit rates than almost everyone else in existence.

Obviously you and other people will have different opinions than mine, but for me Expo Mobile appears to be my best choice at this time. Maybe another Verizon MVNO will beat Expo Mobile's lowest price paygo plan some day? Or maybe Expo Mobile will change or eliminate their $10 plan and make it less desirable? Who knows? I will simply deal with these issues if they ever happen, but until then Expo Mobile is clearly the best choice for me.

Idk which is correct, but at https://www.expomobile.com/expoaws/index.aspx/PlansList, the $55 Pay As You Go Plan still shows 180 days, and the $100 Pay As You Go Plan still shows 365 days, if you click on "Detail".
