Most clean imei/esn Sprint and Verizon phones should be compatible with Expo mobile. However you will need an appropriate sim.

Yes, and no SIM card is needed to use a Vzw iPhone 4s with Expo Mobile. Simply call them up at 800-818-1597 to start new service. It is a quick an easy process over the phone.

The Expo Mobile website said I may have to call verizon to unlock the phone?

Verizon is full of it. A Verizon clean esn iphone should work ota over tge air programming... the iphone 4 series cdma did not need a sim... ignore Verizon...their postpaid side always tries to lie to customers trying to get onto Verizon Prepaid and mvnos...Hofos know better then they do... but sounds like bs to me...

I was able to activate the verizon 4s with expo with no problem at all. I called customer service and they had my number ported within an hour and the phone and the Expo Mobile phone service is working great and for only 2 cents per minute or text. Watch out page plus.....your days are numbered!!

One of the things you should keep in mind with the various types of PAYGO setups is that, in the case of a use-it-or-lose-it deal like Expo, you're only going to see that $0.02/min rate if you use all of it in the paid for interval. But it's a helluva rate; best out there for service on VZW.

Even if you lose a portion of the $10, I know nowhere else you can get Verizon service for $3.33 per month 🏄🏿

True but at 10 cents per minute. I don't know many people that only talk 25 minutes per month...let alone text. At 2 cents per minute or text you can get 500 over 3 months. It can be argued either way but I'm going 25 minutes per month is not enough.

Another plus is using modern 4G phones as I got extra voice account on an iPhone SE...no data but wifi normally available and 2 cents calls. 😁

Expo Mobile now has a nifty online account management dashboard on their site, as I found out when I reupped my mom's phone a couple weeks back. It even includes detailed usage info including call records- apparently sometime recently (end of August?), Expo Mobile started charging for calls to 611. They also charged my mom's account for the "your service will expire in 3 days" and "refill was successfully added" texts they sent.

The voice usage summary on the main dashboard page says that 9 minutes have been used... in the details, I searched for calls from 4/1/17 - 12/6/17 and a total of 9 one minute calls were returned going back to 7/11/17, so apparently the total number of minutes used goes back before the date of the last refill.

Expo's OLAM is slow as molasses... expect to wait a while to get a response when you click on something.
