    Will data cutouts end soon?

    And now I got an e-mail from Mobilicity:

    IT'S ALMOST MOVING DAY!

    Hi there!
    Over the next few days, Mobilicity begins the move over to chatr! Thank you very much for being a Mobilicity customer.

    Please note that you will experience disruption to your service that could last up to 7 hours* the night of your move. This disruption will affect your incoming text messages, calls and data services. Your emergency services including 9-1-1 will continue to work for outgoing calls. We are working hard to make the disruption as short as possible and keep you connected.

    *7 hours of disruption of service is an estimate only. Actual disruption may vary between customers

    Good speeds here in eastern Scarborough and eastern Pickering. Only problem was no service last night between 9 pm to 11:15.

    I haven't seen anything yet about changing APN settings for Chatr.

    Tonight I'm moving to Chatr! Let's hope this will be my last service disruption. Twice before for about two hours each, and now this one tonight for seven or eight hours is a bit much.

    Here is the text message from Mobilicity:

    Mobilicity: It's your moving day! You will be moving to chatr this evening between 10PM and 6AM. There are some important things for you to note: you will experience disruption of incoming calls and text messages for up to 7 hours. Your outgoing 9-1-1 emergency services will continue to work. We are working hard to make the disruption is limited and to keep you connected. Thank you for being a valued Mobilicity customer. See you on chatr!

    The speed test doesn't tell the full story.
    I'm more interested in your overall app experience and speed:Google maps, Viber, web browsing etc.
    Yes, I have tried Chatr APN settings and didn't get data at all.

    I'm really happy with Google Maps, Web browsing, Spotify playlist updates and new album downloads at the Extreme setting (320 Kbps). All day and night speeds are consistent and nothing to complain about at all.

    My most demanding Internet use is updating Windows 10 and Office 2016 Professional Plus. Windows Update is consistently downloading at around 373 KB/s for long stretches of time. That works out to 2.984 megabits per second according to Google. That's the maximum speed that we can expect and what I am getting consistently.

    Yes, eastern Scarborough and eastern Pickering. Also, when I'm roaming in North Oshawa, usability seems really good too, but I don't use my phone as heavily as normal.
