    Question MMS message won't download

All I get on my phone (a BB Priv) is a notification that I have a "New MMS Message".

Anyone else experiencing this, or have past experience of this wort of thing?

    Possibilities I can think of:

    • problem with my phone
    • problem with the Mobilicity to Chatr migration
    • problem on the sender's side

    Thanks.

I've had this problem still do at times some days worst then others , posted the issue a few weeks back no reply's so I thought it was my phone .....here's the APN set up from Mobi customer care

"In order for data and MMS to work, the Wi-Fi connection*must be disabled and the data settings enabled.
Please input the below APN settings or verify that they have been entered correctly if already there."

    Name : MoWAP
    APN : wap.davewireless.com
    Proxy : 10.100.3.4
    Port : 8080
    MCC : 302
    MNC : 320
    Authentication Type : None
    APN Type : default
    Name : MoMMS
    APN : mms.davewireless.com
    MMSC : http://mms.mobilicity.net
    MMS Proxy : 10.100.3.4
    MMS Port : 8080
    MCC : 302
    MNC : 320
    Authentication Type : None
    APN Type : mms

not sure if it has changed over the past weeks because of the chatr switch some phones will get the apn settings sent to there phone to download.
Mobilicity $15.00 Promo plan + $5.00 increase under rogers ownership.

You don't need, or want, the Proxy/Port for the MoWAP APN. Leave those blank.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try those out and see if it fixes things.

I'm really wondering if it's due to the Chatr migration, because MMS worked fine for me previously.

I have the exact same problem for like a week.
I think it has to do something with he switch to Chatr because it worked fine before.

I tried removing the proxy/port from the MoWAP (Even though the default settings nowadays include it) but no luck. I just get the Network Error message.

I just checked, and these are the exact settings that I have on my phone already.

I wonder how up-to-date Mobi's FAQ page is, though.

I called Mobilicity and they said that there's a known issue with MMS. They asked me to power down my phone and they sent my phone the APN settings so hopefully that'll work once I power back up.

After Mobilicity/Chatr took service away for almost two hours on Sep 22, I noticed a little later that they wiped out all of my MMS settings except for the MMS APN. I don't know how they did it, but it looks as though they have to do the same for you.

(I have an iPhone SE if it matters.)

I still can't download the MMS message that was giving me problems yesterday, but I did receive another MMS message today no problems at all. So I'm wondering if perhaps there's issue with what was being sent to me.
