Did you download the Chatr carrier profile/APN settings?

Shouldn't it be a Chatr or Rogers APN now that I've migrated?
It will only show Chatr APN once you get a Chatr sim card. If your still using the old Moblicity sim card. It will continue using the old Moblicity APN settings

Yes it's a chatr sim. Data is working and was working before just that I cant get the setup personal hotspot to work. Also chatr said it's a different apn which chatrisp.apn from the data apn chatrweb.apn.

I was told I had to change my Mobilicity SIM to Chatr if I was travelling overseas. After SIM change I lost access to Cellular Data Network option on Iphone 5c without warning from Chatr. Cannot enter the chatrisp.apn to enable Personal Hotspot. If I chose Enable Personal Hotspot it directs me to call Rogers! What did they to to my phone??? I want my manual settings back. Anybody have a fix for this?

Call Rogers and get them to push the settings to your phone. Your carrier might show as Rogers but everything will work. If Rogers is unwilling to help pm me I'll be glad to help.

Yes. Rogers won't help and the Chatr techs have no clue. Could be an Iphone issue only since I was able to put the Chatr Sim card in an unlocked Nexus phone and get access to hotspot/tethering. I have a iphone 5c.

I wonder if it's a Rogers network issue and not specifically a Chatr issue?

When I went to the U.S. in December, I was unable to hotspot using my work phone, which is on Rogers.

    stuck without hotspot,
what kind of phone are you using?
maybe we can establish if it's common to a certain model or whatever

At least two iPhone 6 users and an iPhone 5c user in this thread have this problem. There's another thread here at HoFo too:
Anyone with an iPhone know how to get personal hotspot?

This appears to affect all iPhone users with a Chatr SIM card. Those of us who came to Chatr from Mobilicity and still have our Mobilicity SIM card do not have this issue. I am using an iPhone SE with a Mobilicity SIM card on Chatr and I do not have this issue.
