If yes, is it active nkw?
Can someone post a link for that plan?

    Thanks
    Not that I remember.

There was a $99/year offer for MintSIM owner, Ultra Mobile, for current customers around 3 years ago, but that deal hasn't been repeated. That was for their $19/mo UT&T+100MB plan. My wife had used Ultra for just 1 or 2 months when that special was offered, and we accepted. It was an excellent deal for $8.25/mo at the time.

The problem with waiting for something better to come along is the cost OF waiting. I'm not going to get too bent out of shape knowing I could of waited and saved $100 if I've already saved that ... or close to that ... cumulatively. With rates already low the rewards of waiting are becoming slim to none.
Tell that to the Cricket forum. The possibility of price increases has the Crickteers searching for tall buildings to jump off of.

It’s bizarre to say the least. I’ve posted the link for free cellphone service in that forum a couple times. The way some of the Cricketeers operate...wow...

Was thinking of moving from Harbor Mobile (it's shutting down next month) to MintSim but saw this on SlickDeals. Anyone else get this?

I just got an email about a survey on mintsim and how I'd feel if mintsim dropped its service completely.

I just got a survey yesterday for MintSIM. Although that question was asked, my impression was it was meant to tell the surveyors about how much the service means to the user, rather than MintSIM is going away. Ultra is not going to give up on this service anytime soon.

The majority of the survey was like "How much do you like the service?" or "How does it compare to other prepaid providers". Standard fare, but a little lengthy.

Ultra's regular plans are the same price as Mint's as far as I can tell.

I've seen conflicting reports on hotspotting. Some say they can, someone else said it no longer worked.
Can you or can't you on MintSim?

I have never had an issue with hotspotting with Mint.

It is included as a feature:

"Smartphone Mobile HotSpot (SMHS); turn your device into a WiFi hotspot"

t-mobile is the least restrictive of carrier as far as I know, but of course all corporations have been violating net neutrality.

if a tmobile MVNO doesn't offer you a hotspot with a plan, that's an immediate red flag and I'd recommend not to give any money to that MVNO.

ATT won't allow VoLTE on unlocked handsets, which is a pretty fcuking terrible policy.

As has been mentioned, Harbor Mobile is finished, my MVNO for a number of years. Is Mint Sim a good alternative or are there better?

I was paying $50 including tax for something like 6gb of data shared between a tablet and phone. I don't mind paying a little more for good service. However, I have my limits. I hate shopping around and went to the AT&T store with the intention of getting a plan, but they want almost twice what I was paying.

I've found even though TracFone brands prohibit tethering all together, it will work on a unbranded/unlocked phone if you're NOT on an unlimited h/s data plan.
