    Replaceing SD Card

I have a Motorola G4 with Android Marshmallow configured so that the SD card is part of the extended menory of the phone. I have a 16 gig SD card installed, along with a whole bunch of apps taking up a lot of space on the SD card right now. I want to upgrade the SD card with one of a bigger size.

What is the best way to go about this?

Will I have to uninstall my apps and remove the photos, videos, etc., put the new card in, then reinstall everything..................or.............is there an easier way to do this???? (I'm hoping!!!)

First I need to understand before giving a suggestion to you.
Can you elaborate a little bit more on how did you merge the SD card into extended partition??
