Likewise, want a Band 66 iPhone or Blackberry, but if this phone comes to freedom at a good price I might pick one up.
I will never buy an HTC ever again! (two broke within 4 years, which were well taken care of)

Learn about price collusion, https://www.reddit.com/r/canada/comm...n_of_canadian/ Canada has the highest utility rates in the G7 countries. Say no to price collusion, be informed of the CCTS, Industry Canada and the CRTC. The working class needs affordability in today's society.

I am waiting to see of the new iphone will have Band 66, and is Freedom gets better. Then I might change back to Freedom!

I'm still very undecided about staying with Wind/Freedom when I move to LTE. Price (given network coverage) is of course one factor, and the other factor is the phone. No S7 ...maybe an S8 ..... but what I really want is a One Plus 5 on Band 66, offered by Freedom

Too bad the Asian version of the A5(2017) with dual SIM slots (SM-A520F/DS) doesn't support band 66*, that would have been handy for travelers especially now that Freedom is losing roaming coverage in several countries by May

*-though it does support band 4/AWS HSPA so it should at least work in 3G mode on Freedom

I am not aware of freedom losing any roaming coverage anywhere. Is this some new info?

Back on topic, we have the S8 and S8+ with band 66. So any guesses if the iPhone will have band 66?
