I'm surprised Bell and Telus doesn't have Wifi calling for Android but Freedom does.

    Freedom Mobile: Everywhere Canada 100 (20gb) - 35% + $20 Ready To Go, US = $85 + TAX

Question remains, why don't Bell and Telus support WiFi calling on Android?

Because there are multiple manufacturers, and working with each and everyone must be difficult as compared to Apple...1 development team for all iPhones vs multiple development teams representing each carrier.

As you all know, getting software updates from Android manufacturers has been a pain in the behind since day one, and it wasn't gotten that much better over the years.

Android updates are some what like this: Google releases update --> Manufacturer does its thing --> Carrier does its thing --> Manufacturer releases the update to consumer. or in the case of WiFi Calling, I'm sure there is lots of back and forth between carrier and manufacturer.

Or the carrier can request VoWiFi-enabled firmware from the get-go.

There are more prosaic reasons why they don't.

Yea, probably and I'm sure cost is probably a factor as well in getting it to work. Freedom in this case has no other choice, but don't be surprised if / when iPhone is launched by them, that Android WiFi Calling starts to suffer.
