    Chatr Short Code

I was moved to Chatr couple weeks ago.
I tried to send a text to Aeroplan 27767 and failed.
Talked to tech support and was told that Chatr short code does not support 22767.
I had used this with Mobilicity.

Chatr may be treating this number as the premium text service and I don't have money in my account. Would this be my problem?

The number is 27767 not 22767. I just texted it earlier and it charged me 25c

Sorry, you are right. My typo.
This explains why my text did not go through because I don't have money in my account.

Wow... This is another money grep by Rogers on top of the no roaming indicator.
Is there any charge for receiving text from 27767?
I am about to sign up for the auto-pay. I am wondering how much of the bonus $80 left after 8 months.

Receiving is always free. I didn't bother replying "YES" to confirm sign up for the points. It would take 3 texts to get the points (sending, confirming, cancelling) which would have been 75c.

While I was with Rogers over 4 years ago, they charge me by sending text to non-mobile number. It is hard to find out whether a number is landline or not without doing a phone number search.

I would say Chatr will have this charge too. Since I don't have money in my account, I did sent a text to a landline. I was not able to confirm this charge.

I will soon find out when I have $10 autopay bonus in my account.
