no Band 2 LTE?? and CA

so i was able to play with the LTE bands:

    Band 4 i was getting 35-40Mbps (15mhz)

Band 12 was much slower at only getting like 10Mbps (5mhz)

Band 2 connects to VZW tho i thought it would be pcs 1900 for t-mobile, why hasnt t-mobile convert 2G to LTE? wasnt that their goal?

aslo i notice that there isnt any CA which i also found odd

depends on your city, their AWS holdings and their PCS holdings. If they have 15/20 MHz AWS and only 10 MHz PCS chances are they aren't going to deploy LTE on it quite yet, at least until they start feeling congestion. Given that you're seeing at least 10 Mbps across any given band I think you've got some time to wait. What's the rush?

T-Mobile is getting ready to deploy B2 LTE in my market.
They just moved the PCS HSPA+ channel to a different spot late last year and I think they got rid of another so it looks like T-Mobile is getting ready to deploy B2 LTE....sometime in the future.

The rural markets already have B2 LTE (from GSM 1900) since they didn't have to do spend too much effort in doing so, but the urban markets are moving along slowly. Apparently, B2 LTE is already up and running in a handful of urban markets and in others, getting ready to do so.

aslo i notice that there isnt any CA which i also found odd
T-Mobile does run CA on B4/12. It just market dependent.

Remember that HSPA+ also runs on PCS, not just 2G. That alone takes up almost 10MHz. Depending on how much PCS spectrum they have in your county, they can eventually launch band 2 LTE when there's enough congestion. Your speeds are good, though. Remember, for HD video you only need about 5Mbps and for T-Mobile's throttled BingeOn DVD/480p quality video you only need 1.5Mbps at most.
Carriers I've used: Sprint, T-Mobile, Cricket, AT&T, Verizon, Page Plus, Virgin Mobile, Movistar, AT&T Mexico, Telcel, Straight Talk, RingPlus.
Phones I've used: iPhone 6S, iPhone 5c, HTC One M9, Samsung Galaxy S3, LG G2, BlackBerry Storm, Nokia 820, Motorola Atrix HD, iPhone 4S, HTC One V, iPhone 4, Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia N9, Samsung Focus, Samsung Captivate, Nokia N900, HTC 8525, iPhone 3GS, iPhone, Nokia E61i, Siemens A56...

ive seen a few band 2 LTE in some areas around me, is there a way to tell if my area has CA B4/B12, some kind of map?

    does t-mobile have CAx3 (B2/B4/B12)

Basically Cat 4 means you can only connect to 2 10x10 carriers at once. If you're connected to 15x15 or 20x20, you're limited to that carrier only. So most of the time you will be on one carrier unless you connect to band 2 and band 12 if band 2 is 10x10 or 5x5.

if the phone can do 2 10mhz which = 20mhz then my phone should be able to do the band 4 (15mhz) and band 12 (5mhz) combine which would be 20mhz, which would be the same as 2 (10mhz) ???

EDIT: would like to add that im using metro pcs, not sure if that has anything to do with it?? i dont think it does but had to ask

Don't quote me, but I think once you have a 15x15 carrier that's it for CAT 4. I do know for sure that if you have 10x10 band 2, you can also connect to band 12.

Band priority will always be most capacity to least so 4 then 2 then 12. As for carrier aggregation, it will do whatever it can.

The phone will detect and display other carriers LTE bands if you lock out bands 4 and 12 with no T-Mo B2 LTE deployed in the area. My S7 picks up Sprints B41 and VZ's B4 (In areas where T-Mo hasn't deployed B4 LTE). It displays it but you can't connect to a usable data signal.
