Question about the $10 a month plan

I switched to the $10 a month plan (from the PAYG plan) last month. If I had, say, $8 left on my account before the month is up (next payment due date), will I "lose" that $8? If I get to keep the $8, add $10 (making the balance $18), and only use up $5 before the NEXT payment due date, since there will be $13 left on the account, will I have to add another $10?

I read somewhere (I think it was a comment posted on an old topic on this site) that the balance on AVW's $10 a month plan rolls over. My plan expired on 2/1. I added a $10 monthly refill card yesterday. My balance increased to $18 and the new expiration date is now 2/28. I'm quite sure that I'll have more than $10 before 2/28. If the balance rolls over, why would I need to add another $10 if there's more than $10 still remaining on the account?

Because the plan costs $10 a month. How you use your balance is your business.

I've had my $10 plan for a few years. As long as you refill the $10 monthly by the expiration date, the balance will grow. I currently have over $200 balance on my phone since I use less than $10 a month.
