    6GB now on $45 plan?

    Just noticed this renewal. Fine print says 6GB too. Quiet launch?

    Also note below $65 plan is showing as unlimited in fine print.

    Interesting I may switch from the $60 plan as I use just a few Gb a month.

    Yeah it's 6GB and 8GB now. They really want $20 more for 2GB extra? Wow.

    They really should replace the $60 plan with unlimited choice, or at least give an option for it.

    I guess you're right lol. Wow. The Death Star has really stepped their game up this past week! No mention of it on the main gophone site though.

    It's throttled to 3 MB/Sec like their Choice plan.

    Yes, now when I look at my account, yesterday it was 720MB of 4GB left, now is 720MB of 6GB left, for $45 or $40 with autopay.
    The 8GB for $60/$55 is gone for Unlimited for $65/60, but data is limited to slow 3Mbps.
    So in essence the $45 plan is getting an extra 2GB included, and the 8GB $60 high-speed is replaced for Unlimited (22GB) $65 at 3Mbps.
    So not too bad pricing, but doubt I would go to the Unlimited due to the 3Mbps. For that, better off at Cricket $55 for Unlimited at 8Mbps.
    =>Why did I leave Verizon Wireless after 18 years? Find out here: Leaving Verizon after 18 years!

    => Read my reviews for the Motorola DROID MAXX, DROID Ultra, and DROID Mini.

    => VX8000 at Disney World:Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.

    Fairly well confirmed, I logged into a legacy $0.10 per minute plan GoPhone account I have and shazzzzam. There it is. I just went to VZW post-prepaid for their unlimited as primary. I still carry an AT&T 3G flip phone as secondary. Interesting and exciting times for the consumer.

    Yeah, that's what I don't get. I don't see anyone doing the GoPhone Unlimited at 3Mbps instead of Cricket at 8Mbps.
    As for me, I'll just stick with the $45/40 plan and have 6GB instead of 4GB. There is also the option on the $45 plan to buy 1GB for $10 or 3GB for $20.
    So in essence, could do 6GB $40 + 2GB $20 = 8GB $60, which is what the stand alone 8GB plan was.

    Yep wonders never cease. And we're getting 6gb on cricket basic plan for $35 (autopay) with our two plan changes anyway!
