    Mobley SIM to Unite Explore?...

Once my unlocked Unite Explore hotspot shows up, what do I need to do to swap the SIM from my recently activated AT&T Mobley unit?

I'm new at this "SIM" stuff...

nothing it doesn't even need to be unlocked so I hope that you didn't pay extra for that

A strange fellow in Connecticut that discounts all this cell phone stuff. Do a search for Mr Aberthon. I paid $149 and found a coupon online for 6% off this price! No tax and free shipping!

Please let me know how it compares (speedwise) to the Mobley - I am considering doing the same.

Mobley is much faster and more stable so stick with it.

A friend of mine ordered from that seller and received a used item that was sold as new and it didn't work correctly

Oh oh! We'll see what I received when I get back from this business trip. I used PayPal to pay for it so I can always refute the charge.

I'm not sure I agree with you. The explore is plenty stable from what I can see. It supports 3x CA so it's in theory much faster than the mobley and you can easily connect external antennas to it.

I am guessing that my 2 could have been defective but they both had crazy signal fluctuations

Copy that. Maybe so. I have 2 myself and both seem to be rock solid.

    Mobley SIM to Unite Explore?...

I wanted to ask Mexican-bum how much the cradle improves cell reception? I just picked up the Explore and it is a huge improvement over the Mobley. However at my house my signal keeps jumping between LTE to UMTS to HSPA+. Trying to decide between the cradle or outdoor antenna.

Mine isn't. I have to reset my mobley every 24hrs, it will just drop the internet and I have to reset it to get the internet back up. The velocity has been up and running for 72hrs without a single hiccup so far. My Moto E has been running as a router 24/7 for well over 6 months without a hiccup. I have not had the greatest success with Netgear/Sierra hotpots. Have had three different models and all have been flakey. Not a big Netgear fan and that goes for the Prosecure line too.
