    Question 3G (or 4G) Featurephone?

    Hi,

I am looking for a 3G (or 4G) feature phone, preferablly cheap.
    Doesnt have to be Nokia.

    Why 3G/4G?
My mom (70+) will use this phone with Tmobile USA and Tmobile 2G coverage now sucks (She was quite happy with a Nokia 220 but for the last few months the phone has become unusable due to low signal)

Why featurephone and not a smartphone?
This is for my mom, and she has no need (or no want) for a smartphone. A smartphone is too complicated for her, too many things to go wrong, not to mention poor security.
She will *ONLY* use the phone for voice calls (not even text).

    Does such a beast exist?
I have searched far and wide all over the net, and have not been successful at finding one!

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Your mom needs phone with physical keyboard. I do not think you can find Nokia with phone keyboard that works on T-Mobile 3G network. The closest thing is ZTE Cymbal Z-320 that costs $15

Thank you for the pointer to the ZTE phone.

I couldn't tell for sure, but is this phone running Android? That would be a negative.
I really dont want a smartphone.

Don't worry. While this phone is using heavy modified Android, it is not smartphone. It is just old style phone with keys (no touch screen) that powered by Android. Android used not only for smartphones but also for powering many other devices including TVs, routers and, in this case, dumbphone.

    Based on this https://support.myfamilymobile.com/a...e-cymbal-z-320

this phone can synchronize address book with Google/Gmail. It means you can modify address book not only using phone keyboard (it is difficult task on basic phones) but also via web on https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?shva=1#contacts
