the fact they introduced a plan with 250MB... wish it was starting at 1GB just to appear value focused.

Like that the two higher tiers come with Away network data and minutes included in Canada. Wonder if it's LTE coverage too for the data there.

The 2GB bonus data is permanent.
The offer is a time limited promo.

You will receive an additional 2 gigabytes of data per month on the Freedom Mobile Home network as long as you remain active and in good standing on the Eligible Plan.

It better be. I think Freedom Mobile noticed how uncompetitive their LTE plan was and went back to the drawing board.

The $49 plan actually looks competitive. I wouldn't mind dropping my $39, to get an extra gig and Roaming.

Btw: Pricing for the S8, S8+, and G6 are up now.

I will never buy an HTC ever again! (two broke within 4 years, which were well taken care of)

Learn about price collusion, https://www.reddit.com/r/canada/comm...n_of_canadian/ Canada has the highest utility rates in the G7 countries. Say no to price collusion, be informed of the CCTS, Industry Canada and the CRTC. The working class needs affordability in today's society.

Now, more than never waiting for the new iphone to be compatible with Freedom's LTE. It seems that the LtE system is better than their 3G.

LTE roaming will be supported by all future-ready phones, as well as most existing phones.

wow the 3g plans are now removed!!
People with non LTE phones are stucked with their old plans or to be forced to go on the new plans with higher $$ if they need to change!

I should have jumped onto the $55 plan with US/Canada roaming while it was available.

What will happen to legacy plans? If I plan to stay longer than a year with my current 3g plan with my-tabs?

If they change anything on my plan contrary to my liking(having been with them 4 years), I will jump the ship. I don't want to be treated the same as new customers.

They can't even compete with Public Mobile Promo plans. I'm currently paying $37 a month for that plan (I only get province wide calling but the plan is Canada wide at least).

LTE in Away available as of today (with Bell- mainly Eastern Canada). Was just at the store to order my S8 and rep was very knowledgeable fortunately.

Ok... I specifically said Promo plans (which there aren't any right now). You also chose to use the 30 day plan length instead of 90 days and the majority of people do not care about Canada Wide calling. Especially since long distance is only a few sense a minute.

Why the fine print about active and in good standing?
If a client misses a payment or lets his service get suspended he loses the promo?
    Public $120 Province Wide + 12GB - $6 Autopay - $6 Loyalty - $39 Refer = $23 per Month
    Chatr $40 North America Wide + 6GB + 30 Mins Roaming
